Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews have been talking about purchasing an island off the coast of Howth.
Vogue admitted that the pair have been talking about it since spending time in their new holiday home there.
Williams, who is a native of the area, had the idea after an uninhabited island that is owned by a private investment firm came back on the market.
She said: "We were in Howth and I was like, 'Imagine owning Ireland's Eye."
"There's an island just off Howth...It's part of Howth practically, it's called Ireland's Eye. Spenny said to me, I'm going to buy you that island one day."
"I said, 'You can't actually buy it, it's not a habitable island. You can't actually buy it, the person who bought deer park bought the island."
Vogue was delighted to return to her hometown last month to film a new series for Virgin Media.
Speaking on her podcast that she co-hosts with Spencer, Vogue said: "We finally made it back to Ireland.
"My mug I'm using right now says, 'I'd rather be in Howth', which is very true."
Spencer was less convinced about the magic of Howth teasing Vogue that there was nothing special about the seaside town.
"It's absolutely bizarre, it's very evident that you cannot take the girl out of Howth."
"I could drop her in the lap of absolute luxury and I'm not talking about some average holiday I mean I'd put her somewhere insane and she'd be like, 'Oh it's not Howth."
"There's nothing special about Howth at all other than the fact that you're from Howth."
In the end, Spencer admitted that "Howth is actually remarkably beautiful. If you haven't been to Howth, I highly advise that you go"
