VMA Nominees REVEALED: Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish dominate awards list

From the revival of our teen heartthrobs Jonas Brothers to hip-hop infused country tracks about horses, it sure has been an eclectic year of music.

And next month, the best of the best will be celebrated with the annual MTV Video Music Awards.

The full nominee list for this year has just dropped and no surprises that pop princesses Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift are leading the race with a whopping 10 nominations each.

This year, the VMAs will be introducing two new categories. One is Best K-Pop, which includes a nomination for “Boy With Luv” from BTS, featuring Halsey. The other category is Video for Good, which features socially-conscious tracks including John Legend’s “Preach” and Lil’ Dicky’s “Earth.”

Comedian Sebastian Maniscalo is set to host the ceremony in New Jersey, which takes place on 27 August.
