VMA 2009 producers begged sobbing Beyonce to stay after Kanye left Taylor Swift in tears

Kayne West and Taylor Swift have had seriously Bad Blood for 10 years.

Their decade-long feud was sparked when the rapper left the singer in tears after he stormed the stage to interrupt her acceptance speech to say his pal Beyoncé should have won at the 2009 VMAs.

Now it's emerged producers begged crying Beyoncé to stay at the glittering awards ceremony after the explosive stage invasion.

The Crazy in Love hitmaker broke down in tears backstage where she was comforted by her dad Mathew Knowles.

VMA spat: Taylor Swift takes a swipe at Kanye as 10 year feud continues

Tearful Beyoncé lamented she had no idea Kayne would take to the stage as she admitted she felt "so bad" for Taylor.

Van Toffler, who was the president for Viacom Media Networks Music & Logo Group at the time, reaccounted how he begged the superstar to remain at the event after the dramatic showdown.

He told Billboards in a new interview: "I walk behind the stage and sure enough there is Beyoncé and her dad, and she is crying. She was like, 'I didn't know this was going to happen, I feel so bad for her.'

"There was a lot of begging, but fortunately she agreed to stay, and Beyoncé agreed to do a wonderfully gracious thing."

Taylor scooped the MTV Video Music Award for Best Female Video for her music video accompanying her catchy tune You Belong With Me.

The Blank Space hitmaker was on the stairwell to fame after she garnered attention for her single Love Story in 2008.

Beyoncé narrowly lost out on the award after she had been nominated in the same category for her sexy video for Single Ladies.

Kayne caused a major rift with Taylor when he declared on TV that Beyoncé should have won the award because she had produced "one of the best videos of all time".

He said: "Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!"

Although they patched things up temporarily, the fireworks of their feud were ignited again when Kayne used a naked Taylor lookalike in his music video for his track Famous in 2016.

His wife Kim Kardashian started war on Taylor and branded her a "snake" as she leaked a secret recording where the songstress appears to agree to have the use of her name in the track.

Taylor later released a track Look What You Made Me Do and the accompanying music video was jam-packed with allusions to her feud with the married couple.

The singer built her Reputation tour around being called a "snake" and she even wheeled out a giant reptile on stage while she performed her new catalogue of songs.

Recently, Taylor told Vogue about the feud: "A mass public shaming, with millions people say you are quote-unquote cancelled is a very isolating experience.

"I don't think that there are many people who can actually understand what it's like to have millions of people hate you very loudly. When you say someone is cancelled, it's not a TV show.

"It’s a human being. You’re sending mass amounts of messaging to this person to either shut up, disappear, or it could also be perceived as, kill yourself."
