Vlad Guerrero Jr. and Joc Pederson had a jaw-dropping battle in the Home Run Derby

Joc Peterson and Vlad Guerror Jr. squared off in the semifinals of the Home Run Derby on Monday night in Cleveland and put on a show that had everyone watching it in utter disbelief.

Because they just kept hitting home run after home run after home run.

First they tied each other with 29 home runs, which tied Guerrero’s record from earlier in the night.

Then they tied again with eight home runs.

Then they tied again in a three-swing playoff.

And then finally, Guerrero and his 40 total homers edged Pederson and his 39 homers to advance to the final where he lost to Pete Alonso of the Mets.

It was insane.
