Vivid Seats projects Georgia to Notre Dame fan ratio for Saturday

The Georgia Bulldogs and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will square off at Sanford Stadium on Saturday night.

Tickets are amongst the most expensive in the country for the entire season, per Vivid Seats, with the median price at $602 for the game. However, the ticket company is running a slight discount at the moment.

After a heavy Bulldog crowd in Nashville, where the ticket company projected 75% Georgia fans, a new fan forecast has been made.

Vivid Seats projects the stadium to be 83% Georgia on Saturday night. Though the number may seem low, you have to remember how many Bulldog fans made the trip to South Bend.

It’s completely understandable why so many Irish fans would buy up tickets on the secondary market, in addition to their 8,000 seat allotment through the university.

While this is just a projection, we would not be surprised in the slightest to see sprinkles of navy and green scattered around the stadium, to go along with the ladybug looking Georgia crowd. After all, this is Notre Dame, one of the largest fan bases in the country,

However, we know DawgNation will be ready for the challenge come kickoff and louder than ever before. Treat the traveling Irish fans with respect and be good hosts. Just remember that come kickoff, it’ll be time for 3 hours of screaming your red and black lungs out.

Go Dawgs!
