Vitor Belfort rattles off boxing match hit list: Anderson Silva, Logan Paul, Anthony Pettis, and more

Vitor Belfort doesn’t see more MMA in his future and rather focuses on boxing matches or hybrid-rules bouts that only involve striking.

The main goal for the 46-year-old former UFC champion Belfort at this stage is to “share the ring with someone who has made an impact.” That includes fellow MMA legends, upstart influencers-turned-boxers and some of the biggest free agents out there.

Fresh off his unanimous decision win over Ronaldo Souza in the Gamebred Boxing 4 co-main event this past weekend in Milwaukee, Wis., “The Phenom” revealed to MMA Junkie a number of matchups that he is interested in, as he looks to return to boxing action later this year.

Logan Paul and Jake Paul

Logan Paul

“Logan Paul is a fight I would really like. I think these Paul brothers avoid me so much. But I would love to fight one of them. … If one of these guys is man enough to fight me, and I prove that I deserve. Actually, they have to pay me a lot of money to fight them. I heard he’s throwing a lot of money to Nate Diaz, and Nate Diaz is saying no. So Logan Paul, come and battle me. I can fight both of you guys in the same night if you guys want. We can do that. We can break pay-per-view records.”

Anthony Pettis

Anthony Pettis

“Maybe we do me and Pettis next, because it was supposed to be me and Roy (Jones Jr.) in that event, but Roy picked the easy fight. And unfortunately Roy couldn’t win, but I would love to fight Pettis. Of course, (it’s) totally possible.”

Tommy Fury

Tommy Fury

“If Tommy Fury wants to accept me on that challenge, I think that would be a fun fight to do with him.”

Anderson Silva

Anderson Silva

“Anderson Silva. I have these names in mind because for me to fight today is more like a passion, purpose thing.”

Nate Diaz and Nick Diaz

Nate Diaz and Nick Diaz

“I would like to fight Nate Diaz and Nick Diaz. Both. Either. They’re great boxers, I think it would be a war. I would love to fight one of those brothers. I have so much respect for them. They earned respect. They’re real fighters. They’re really brawlers, and they love to box. And so do I. I think I was the guy that motivated them to become a real boxer in the MMA community, because I come from Carlson Gracie team. They come from (Cesar) Gracie team. … That would be a legendary fight too, to fight one of these guys.”
