Despite FaZe’s struggles across the season, the lineup on paper is still stacked, perhaps even more than before with the addition of Neityu. The former-ENCE star looked solid in the team’s BLAST Rivals run, particularly in the series versus FURIA that got them to the playoffs. But the team is facing the final boss of CS, Vitality. The defending champions may have struggled against BetBoom, but they still have the firepower to turn a series around on a dime. FaZe will just have to hope they can get a knockout punch in before their opponents warm up.

Nuke – Vitality barely stay alive to make the comeback real – 16-14
Vitality came out sharp on Nuke, avoiding the economic mistakes that plagued their BetBoom outing as the rifling trio of apEX, flameZ, and ropz controlled the early game to build a 5-1 lead. FaZe’s lifeline came through Twistzz, whose headshots kept them in contention as the A-site became their preferred route late in the half, with only a brilliant 1v3 from ropz disrupting their rhythm. Despite Vitality’s usual CT-side dominance on the map, Twistzz’s sharp aim kept things nearly even at 7-5 heading into the second half.
CT-side pistol wins retained their 100% win record on Nuke as frozen’s 4k with the Dual Elites set the tone, and with frozen and Twistzz both firing on all cylinders, FaZe broke the Vitality economy just as the scoreline levelled at 8-8. Desperation crept into Vitality’s playbook as FaZe pushed into double digits, and just as casters noted the absence of a signature “Vitality round,” ZywOo hit two clean Desert Eagle shots to create a 3v3 — only for Neityu’s sharper aim to maintain FaZe’s CT dominance.
mezii finally stepped up in round 20 to give Vitality their first proper gun round, activating ZywOo and flameZ to dismantle the FaZe economy and reach matchpoint. Neither team was ready to surrender the map, though, and Neityu simply cruised through the lobby to flank Vitality’s weakened players and push the game into overtime.
Dust2 – An utter stomp from in-form Vitality – 13-5
FaZe’s B-defence held up to the Vitality test in the opening round, taking down three on the entry itself to take an easy retake win. Vitality chose to bring out rifles in round two to no avail. Instead, it was a smattering of Desert Eagles, particularly apEX’s that cracked open the A-site with two crisp headshots and found Vitality their opening into the map.
The game quickly devolved into a series of traded rounds, as the two teams grappled for control over the economy. Vitality eventually emerged victorious out of that melee, and took a dominant 8-4 lead at half. While FaZe took the pistol round win, an immediate answer from apEX and co. took control of the map, and ran it all the way to 13, closing out the series.
