'Vital' - Nottingham Forest fans issue Samba Sow selection message

Nottingham Forest fans have sent a message to the club to avoid overplaying midfielder Samba Sow.

The 30-year-old is currently recovering from a recurring knee injury which has kept him on the sidelines for the Reds' past two matches.

Manager Sabri Lamouchi said earlier this week that he hopes to have Sow available for selection for their Sky Bet Championship fixture against Middlesbrough on Monday night.

Sow has been a vital player for Lamouchi this season, featuring 19 times and helping the club reach their current fourth place position in the Championship table.

Forest fans heard Lamouchi and Sow’ comments about the injury, and have urged the club to save the midfielder for the closing stages of the campaign.

Here is a selection of what they had to say.

Sam Bunch: “No need to rush him back. Get him fully fit for the run in/play-offs.”

Tyrone A Middleton: “Exactly we need him fully fit for play-offs.”

Mark Scholes: “Get the rock back awesome. Vital team player this season.”

Kev Baz Wat: “Just make sure you are ok for our last three games of the season (i.e. the play-offs). If you are, then we will likely win them all and go up.”

Allstarreds: “I would make sure he is fully fit and recovered otherwise he will get injured again, play Semedo.”

B8S: “Go same team that beat Cardiff - who on paper are much stronger than Boro - give Sow the time needed to be 100%.”
