Visitors to Durham city will enjoy incredible views when a new walkway opens along the riverside.
The new walkway is now complete and connects the new shops and restaurants along the promenade of The Riverwalk.
Walking between Milburngate Bridge and Framwellgate Bridge, visitors will be able to enjoy views of Durham Castle and Durham Cathedral.
The £30 million project includes shops, restaurant, student accommodation and a luxury cinema that is due to open in the coming weeks.
Nick Berry, partner at Clearbell Capital, said: "This is a significant milestone in the development.
"It follows on from some recent exciting news about new restaurant brands and Odeon confirming its Luxe concept for the scheme.
"We are hard at work behind the scenes and look forward to welcoming visitors very soon, when they will be able to enjoy the new walkway and the great views that The Riverwalk boasts."
Odeon Luxe Durham will have 403 luxury, handmade reclining seats across six cinema screens , offering fans triple legroom and increased personal space.
The opening will come in time for summer blockbusters including X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Men in Black: International and the new Lion King movie.
Other business set to open at the development include restaurants Cosy Club, LogFire Pizza and Delancey's Donkey, with Old Toms Gin Bar opened its doors at the end of last year.
