Visitor to Bristol 'pushed to the ground' during city centre robbery

A man visiting Bristol was pushed to the floor during a robbery in the city centre.

Police are appealing for help to identify two men who are wanted in connection with the incident, which happened on August 20.

The victim, a man from Cornwall, was in Broad Quay between 3.30am and 4am when he saw a group of young men who asked him for money.

He went to the ATM and withdrew £200, intending to give them £20.

However, he was then pushed to the floor before his bank card and cash were taken.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary is now appealing for help from the public.

"We’re appealing for help to identify the two men pictured," a police spokesperson said.

"We’re keen to speak to the two men pictured who we believe may have information to help our enquiries into the incident.

"If you can help, please contact us, quoting reference 5219191233."
