London motorcyclists wishing to immerse themselves in biking custom culture are being invited along to a bike-inspired ‘Winter Chill’ Christmas Market.
Staged by London motorcycle gear and clothing specialists Urban Rider, the event is taking place at Greenwich Market, on Thursday December 6.
The organisers say that Greenwich Market will be packed with custom motorcycle exhibits, gifting stalls, craft beer and street food, live music and interactive displays. The evening is being presented in partnership with Belstaff, Deus ex Machina, helmet makers Hedon and motorcycle manufacturers Royal Enfield.
“Greenwich Market is the perfect venue in London for this spectacular event, allowing riders to ride into the market directly and become part of the event itself,” says co-founder of Urban Rider, William Starritt. “Motorcyclists are invited to bring their custom bikes to display and to marvel at the work of their fellow riders.
“We’ve partnered with world class brands to bring this event alive and celebrate a special time of year. The evening will be a chance to experience the thrilling sub-culture of motorcycling up close and personal.
“We are inviting riders to come and experience the extraordinary world of classic and custom motorcycles in London, while seeing the latest motorcycles from Royal Enfield and having a go on their epic Scalextric track.”
Attendees will get the chance to take home a custom Christmas bauble for their tree from Belstaff, or have leather goods embossed by the team at Hedon. Deus ex Machina will be supplying coffee, while specially brewed craft beer will be on-tap from local brewer Brew by Numbers. Visitors will even be able to try their hand at screen printing.
The event at Greenwich Market fires up at 7.30pm and entry is free of charge.
