
Saudi Arabia registered on Monday 4,507 new coronavirus cases, raising its total to 132,048.
In a daily briefing on the outbreak, the Health Ministry said 1,658 of the new infections were reported in the capital Riyadh, 413 in Jeddah, 389 in the holy city of Makkah, 270 in al-Dammam and 125 in Madinah.
Recoveries have reached 87,890 with 3,170 people being declared virus-free.
Thirty-nine more people have passed away from the virus, raising overall fatalities to 1,011.
