Saudi Arabia announced on Monday that it has registered 5,524 new recoveries from the novel coronavirus.
In a daily briefing on the outbreak, the Health Ministry said the latest figures bring to 203,259 the number of recoveries in the Kingdom.
It reported 2,429 new infections, raising the count to 253,349.
Thirty-seven more fatalities were confirmed, taking the death toll to 2,523.
