Virginia won the NCAA title and everyone was in awe of their redemption story

A year ago the Virginia men’s basketball team was a national embarrassment. Now, they’re national champions.

The No. 1 seed completed an incredible turnaround Monday night in Minneapolis, beating Texas Tech, 85-77, in an absolute overtime thriller,

A year ago Tony Bennett’s team became the first No. 1 seed to ever lose to a No. 16 seed, as they were stunned by University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Fans had a ton of fun roasting them for it for that loss and then fans had a tough time buying into the Virginia this in this years tournament.

But after a number of thrilling wins in their last three games of the tournament, Virginia is the last team standing, and media members and fans were in awe of how the Cavaliers were able to put last year behind them and get it done this year:
