The heartbroken family of Virginia Giuffre have chosen to share her final letter, declaring that “her voice will not be silenced”, after she was believed to have died by suicide last week.
The note was shared on social media by Giuffre’s sister in law, Amanda Roberts, who felt Virginia’s message was a “beautiful” and encouraging message to share with fellow survivors and followers.
“Hello world. While spending time with family and celebrating our sister, we were going through journal entries that Virginia had written over the years and stumbled upon this quote and thought it was a beautiful moment to share with you all,” Roberts wrote.

In the post, Roberts — who has vowed to continue Virginia’s fight for survivors — shared a photo of a note handwritten by Giuffre.
“Mothers, Fathers, Sisters, and Brothers need to show the battle lines are drawn, and stand together to fight for the future of victims. Is protesting the answer? I dont know. But we’ve got to start somewhere,” the note read.
“Survivors should know that she’s with you and her voice will not be silenced. I know that it’s so important, and her wish is that we continue to fight,” Roberts added.

Giuffre’s family confirmed that she passed away from suicide in a statement released on April 26.
“It is with utterly broken hearts that we announce that Virginia passed away at her farm in Western Australia,” the statement read.
“She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking. In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight.”
The news came following worrying posts on social media in which Virginia claimed she had “days to live” after surviving a car crash.
Guiffre became a public figure after she chose to waive anonymity to share her allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking against Florida billionaire Jeffrey Epstein and his girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.
Epstein was arrested in 2019 and died by suicide in his cell before his trial could begin. Meanwhile, Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for her involvement in Epstein’s sex trafficking scheme.
She also alleged that Prince Andrew sexually assaulted her when she was only 16. Prince Andrew has vehemently denied these accusations.
Although Guiffre filed a lawsuit against him in 2021, it was settled out of court in early 2022.
