Virgin Voyages has revealed that the cabins on its cruise ships Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady are being given a refresh for 2022.
Scarlet Lady 's cabins are due to be completed by spring 2022. Meanwhile Valiant Lady, one of the highly anticipated new cruise ships this year, will have her cabins finished in time for March when she makes her debut.
Sir Richard Branson 's cruise line said that the refresh comes to offer 'a warmer energy and more sophisticated feel' for guests.
That will include new artwork and additional wood finishings, although the main features of the cabins - such as a bed that can be turned into a sofa during the day - will remain the same.
Each of the two ships boasts 1,330 cabins, as well as 78 VIP 'RockStar Quarters' - the latter where guests can enjoy perks from champagne tables to stargazing terraces.

Valiant Lady isn't the only new cruise ship to launch for Virgin Voyages - in summer 2022, new ship Resilient Lady is also expected to make her debut.
Like their sister ship Scarlet Lady they will feature the likes of vegan restaurants, themed brunches, an onboard tattoo parlour, rockstar themed suites, a top deck pool, a luxury spa and plenty of wellbeing activities such as yoga classes.
Valiant Lady is due to sail an inaugural season to the Canaries and Europe from Portsmouth,while Resilient Lady will sail in summer 2022 from Athens and Barcelona on itineraries spanning the Greek Isles and Europe.
Scarlet Lady made her debut in the UK last year, a year later than planned after the Covid pandemic saw cruise holidays cancelled or postponed back in 2020 due to global travel restrictions at the time.
Before restrictions were brought in, the ship had originally made an appearance at Southampton back in February when we got a sneak peek on board.

It's worth noting that Virgin Voyages requires all passengers (and crew members) to be fully vaccinated against Covid in order to board the company's ships.
Until January 31st passengers will be required to wear masks indoors except while eating and drinking. After that date, the company says it plans to return to its usual no-mask-required policy.
