Hundreds of Virgin Media customers were left fuming tonight, after ITV just stopped working.
People watching Britain's Got Talent were left confused when their TVs stopped working and displayed an error message.
Channel four was also affected by the outage, with people annoyed they were unable to watch Gogglebox
The message said: "The channel is currently unavailable, check the TV guide to see if it is off air."
Hundreds of people took to twitter to report the outage - that happened right in the middle of one of the acts.
One fan said: "Is anyone with Virgin Media having problems with ITV (Channel 103)? Suddenly cut off for me, and also Channel 4 (104) Others seem unaffected."
Another said: "Virgin Media please sort out ITV channel? Thanks #bgt "
And a third added: " @ITV has stopped working @virginmedia i was watching #BG t what’s happening???"
Other people advised that fans turned to channel 853 to watch ITV - which is the audio-description channel, that seemed to still be working.
Virgin Media has been plagued by problems recently - with customers reporting service outages for broadband and TV in the last couple of months.
A Virgin Media spokesperson said: “We sincerely apologise for the loss of some TV channels earlier this evening. All channels are now restored.”
