Virgin Media are launching a new late night sports show tonight that is set to feature several high-profile guests and panelists.
'Virgin Media Sport Tonight' will air at 11 pm on Monday and Fridays starting tonight on Virgin Media One, and will be hosted by Virgin Media and Match of the Day commentator Conor McNamara.
The show will be 30 minutes long, will feature pundits, former sports stars and sports journalists and will present news as well a panel to break down the biggest stories in the world of sport.
Tonight's show will focus on tomorrow's All-Ireland replay as GAA journalist Colm Keys joins McNamara to discuss all things Dublin and Kerry while Niall Quinn will also be at hand to discuss the race for the Premier League title and if anyone can challenge Manchester City and Liverpool.
Speaking to the Irish Mirror ahead of the show, McNamara said: "The idea is on Monday to look back on what was happening on the weekend, but the great thing is that because we've got all the footage and the archives.
"Say if there's a big VAR decision (in a football game), we can show it rather than just talk about it.
"For the first ten minutes it'll be sports news, have an ad break and come back for the second part of the show - which is longer - for panels.
"We'll have sports journalists, definitely some former players. Football will be huge, GAA, golf will feature quite a lot as well as rugby."
