Virgin Media offers customers kids' TV channels like Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon for free

Virgin Media will offer TV customers seven popular children's channels for free until April 21.

Virgin Media says Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Cartoonito, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, NickToons and Nick Jr Too will be offered to TV customers at no extra cost to give families 'a helping hand to keep their kids entertained' during the coronavirus pandemic lockdown.

"Across these channels, a range of shows from Ben 10, Paw Patrol, Teen Titans and classics like Tom and Jerry, ScoobyDoo and Spongebob Squarepants, will be available for kids to watch," Virgin Media says.

There are also 1,000 episodes available to watch through Virgin Media's On Demand service.

Virgin Media adds: "This television upgrade is available to customers on Virgin Media’s Player, Mixit (without Kids TV pick) and Maxit (without Kids TV pick) bundles at no extra cost. Eligible customers don’t have to do anything and there will be no change to their contract."

Virgin Media has also given mobile customers 10GB of free data and unlimited minutes, at no extra cost, while data caps have been removed for legacy broadband customers.
