Virgin Media is giving customers a free Nintendo Switch - here's how to get one

Virgin Media has launched a new limited-time offer and it’s perfect for gaming fans.

Until midnight on Wednesday, March 18, the broadband and TV giant is giving away a Nintendo Switch console, worth £279.99, to anyone who signs up to its most popular bundles.

The deal is for new customers only, is available on Virgin’s Bigger bundle and Bigger bundle + Movies which both include TV and broadband.

As well as getting a free portable games console, Virgin has also cut the price of the Bigger Bundle from £57 per month to £45 per month.

This deal includes 108Mbps broadband, over 220 channels, a V6 set-top box and Talk Weekends.

If you want to tune into the latest blockbuster movies then the Bigger bundle + Movies costs £60 per month and includes faster 213Mbps broadband and over 240 channels.

And don’t worry if you’re not a gaming fan, new customers can choose £150 bill credit instead of the Switch console.

Another top offer from Virgin Media is on the Ultimate Oomph package - although there’s no freebie included in this promotion, you do get a price cut of £10 per month.

This means you’ll enjoy 516Mbps broadband speeds, an unlimited SIM for your phone and over 270 channels for £79 per month.

Virgin has also announced that it's cutting the price of its broadband-only plans and some of the discounts will save you over £200 over the 12-month subscription period.
