Virgin Media Irish customers lose internet access after 'power outage'

Virgin Media customers across Ireland have been complaining over a lack of access to their services.

The company suffered a massive power outage in the UK and it also appears to have occurred in Ireland also

The most commonly reported problems include cable internet connection at 68%, mobile internet at 20% and total blackout at 10%.

According to data from downdetector.ie, almost 60 reports of failed connection was recieved by Virgin Media over three hours earlier today.

At 10am on Tuesday morning the company only had one report of bad connection made by one in the afternoon, the figure had reached 54.

One customer said: “No internet in Beaumont in Dublin since this morning. How is it not fixed yet? Service going from bad to worse lately. Constantly dropping. Terrible company worse then UPC ever was.”

Problems were existing all over the country as people experienced little to no internet connection all day.
