Okay, so I've been reading this book for the past five days and I like it. It was an enjoyable, funny and hilarious read but also, in a way, relatable, since the main character often embarrasses herself by being clumsy (which I also am!).
The story follows Ellie who is a 21 year old university student and (guess what!) she is a virgin! Not only a virgin but she is on a mission to lose her virginity. However, I feel like this was more a story of self discovery than a journey to lose her virginity. I liked the character of Ellie and how she was open and honest and tried to not let her embarrassment drag her down… for long at least. I also loved Ellie's friends, Lara: the supportive and loyal character, who is open and honest. While Emma, whom is perhaps best described as a whirlwind, is exciting and, once in a room, you know she is there as an entrancing character.
Although more for mature readers, I enjoyed this light-hearted and easy flowing story and I would urge others to pick this up to since it is funny and a quick read.
I was unsure whether I was going to rate this a 3.5 or a 4 but decided to settle on the four since I really did enjoy it.
