For its 20th year, the Melbourne Fashion festival will host more than 200 Australian and international designers across over 140 events.
Alex Perry, Alice McCall, Bianca Spender, Dion Lee, Manning Cartel and Scanlan Theodore are a few of the Australian names on the bill, but they may be outshone by Jean Paul Gaultier, as the French designer will be showcasing his Target collaboration.
The festival will include other innovative creators across visual and performing arts, including Adele Varcoe, Emma Abrahams and Kieran Stewart. Indigenous designers from the Cairns Indigenous art fair will bring their sell-out 2015 fashion performance, Birrimbi Dulgu Bajal, to the Melbourne stage.
