Virgin Australia is making a bid to be the flying partner of choice for small business owners (Qantas, who?), with a slew of offers designed to “make your CFO smile”.
All your business has to do is sign up for the free (!!!) Virgin Australia Business Flyer program to access a whole bunch of discounts, frequent flyer points and flight bonuses.
So, if you’re staring down the barrel of FY26/27 budgets and know you have a big year coming up? Read on, we’ve gotchu.
The Perks Of Being A Virgin Australia Business Flyer
As a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME), you can land yourself a range of exclusive discounts on selected Choice, Flex and Business Class airfares with guaranteed discounts of up to 10% on selected Virgin Australia and eligible partner airline fares. This includes both domestic Virgin flights and international flights with Virgin, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, and United Airlines.
SME Business Flyer members also earn incremental points directly for the company account based on annual tier spend (ranging from one to two points per $1 spent). And if new Business Flyer SME members spend $2,000 on eligible travel within their first three months, you’ll receive two three-month Velocity Pilot Gold memberships. Chaaa-ching!

For anyone running mid-to-large corporate businesses, you’re eligible for customised, contracted discounts on Choice, Flex, and Business Class fares from Virgin and their partners, both domestically and internationally.
To take the stress out of travel planning, corporate, mid-market, and eligible enterprise organisations also receive dedicated account managers to optimise travel budgets and maximise program rewards. This means you’re getting more and doing less.
Both SME and larger businesses have choice-led fares, which means your business can avoid paying for unwanted inclusions and only pay for the extras travellers actually need (such as food, beverages, baggage, or lounge access).
And it’s not just the cheap fares, the discounts extend beyond flights to a network of 40+ partner brands, including Thrifty, Europcar, and IHG Hotels.
Oh, and did we mention that any traveller can earn points and status credits personally? Yep, that’s right, corporate/enterprise accounts may also trigger performance-based business incentives. ~Fancy~
Now, we have already explained that it’s 100% free to join. But we forgot to mention that there are no ongoing membership fees. Winning!
Anywho, that’s some pretty big bang for your business bucks. If you’re not already a member and you’re looking to sign up, you can head over here.
