Virgil van Dijk's love for Liverpool is clear as Dutchman lives up to his 'perfect' Anfield prediction

Virgil van Dijk is clearly enjoying himself at Liverpool.

Indeed, the Dutchman called the Reds a "perfect match for him" when he arrived from Southampton in a £75m deal back in January 2018.

And Liverpool fans will love the answers the big defender gave in an exclusive interview with TalkSport.

Speaking about his career, Van Dijk named Roberto Firmino as the best player he's ever played alongside, and Jurgen Klopp as one of the greatest managers of all time.

Anfield was named as the best stadium he'd played in and also named as the stadium with the best atmosphere.

Best kit? None other than Liverpool's, of course.

It was no surprise to see Van Dijk name Liverpool's 4-0 victory over Barcelona as the greatest game he'd ever played in, but when asked what was the best game he'd ever watched, his answer was perfect.

"I watched the Barcelona game back."

Elsewhere, Van Dijk named Sergio Aguero as the most difficult player to mark in the Premier League and Klopp's role as the greatest manager was shared with former Everton boss Ronald Koeman - but seeing as Koeman is a Dutch legend and the current manager of the Holland national team, Liverpool fans can forgive Van Dijk for that one.
