Virgil van Dijk issues five-word message after Liverpool's huge Southampton win

Liverpool superstar Virgil van Dijk enjoyed a dream return to St Mary's as Liverpool came from behind to beat Southampton 3-1.

The Reds kept the pressure on Manchester City in the title race with a determined display as they responded to falling behind early on.

Despite their early defensive error, van Dijk and the Liverpool backline recovered well and were rock solid as they emerged with a vital three points.

The Dutch defender has now taken to social media and issued a clear message that Jurgen Klopp's delighted side are not getting carried away.

Van Dijk had to deal with a frosty reception from fans at his former club, but another Red said he "dealt with the boos majestically as usual" as his typically solid display.

Klopp's side are now back top of the Premier League table, two points clear of Manchester City, who are in FA Cup semi-final action against Brighton this afternoon (Saturday).
