Former Celtic star Virgil van Dijk has led his international team-mates in boycotting a Dutch TV station amid accusations of racism.
The Liverpool defender has slammed sports show "Veronica Inside" after it sparked anger by making fun of the Black Lives Matter movement.
The show is hosted by former footballer Johan Derksen and has caused substantial controversy in van Dijk's homeland.
He wrote on social media: “Enough is enough! We, the Dutch international players, no longer speak to you.”
Derksen has insisted the programme's content is satirical and not racist.
But van Dijk 's Netherlands team-mates have followed their captain in refusing to deal with the station.
Derksen has claimed that the country does not have a racism problem, and recently compared a right-wing protester wearing black face paint to anti-racism rapper and poet Akwasi.
Van Dijk said: “This is innocent humour? This is the banter in every football bar? This is just an opinion? This is what you call seeking the limit ? And we are supposed to let go?
“No! This is well over the edge. Not for the first time. Not for the second time. Time and time again. Enough is enough!”
