NEW DELHI: Back in action for the first time since January this year, superstar Virat Kohli is all set to don the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) jersey as he gears up for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.
Ahead of the start of the 17th edition of the cricketing extravaganza, Kohli on Tuesday set the social media abuzz with his new hairdo.
Renowned hair-stylist Aalim Hakim, who gave Kohli the new look, shared the images of the batting great's new hairstyle and it became an instant hit on the internet.
Kohli recently welcomed his second child alongside his actress-wife Anushka Sharma, a baby boy -- Akaay.
Kohli took a break from cricket to be with his family and missed the entire home Test series against England.
"It's really good to be back, firstly playing cricket and just starting off the IPL," Kohli told RCB TV upon his return to action after the break.
"It's always exciting to come back to Bangalore for the start of the IPL season.
"I am pretty happy and excited to be back and I hope all the fans are excited and happy as well."
