NEW DELHI: In a hilarious turn of events, Virat Kohli came up with an epic response to Gujarat Titans' keeper Wriddhiman Saha, who was looking to boost the morale of his side during the game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Saturday.
As RCB got off to a sizzling start in chase of a par 148 target, riding on skipper Faf du Plessis' (64) blitz, the Titans were left searching for answers.
At the end of the 7th over, when RCB got to the 100-run mark, keeper Saha was heard saying, "Chalo, chalo runs roko, match kheecho" in an attempt to lift the shoulders of a down-and-out fielding side.
Kohli, who heard Saha, then responded with, "B*******, aise kaise match kheech lega!"
Kohli went on to score a 27-ball 42 before falling in the 10th over of the chase.
RCB however, hunted down the target inside 14 overs to clinch their fourth win of the season.
The victory also maintained RCB's slim hopes alive of qualifying for the playoffs this season.
