India’s Virat Kohli was left furious after teammate Mohammed Siraj allegedly had a ball thrown at him by the crowd.
The news was revealed by wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, but it’s unclear what sort of ball it was and whether it was intentionally thrown at the player.
Asked why Kohli seemed very frustrated at the press conference following the close of the day's play, Pant answered: "I think, somebody threw a ball inside, at Siraj, so he [Kohli] was upset.
"You can say whatever you want to chant, but don't throw things at the fielders and all those things. It is not good for cricket, I guess."

This was not Siraj’s first run-in with a cricket crowd as he reported racial abuse at the SCG in Australia back in January.
Play was suspended for 10 minutes while a group of fans were removed from the stadium.
During the Lord's Test, KL Rahul was seen throwing back a champagne cork that had made its way onto the ground and possibly hit him.
Back in 2016 the MCC released a newsletter which asked the spectators to refrain from aiming the corks towards the field of play.
It read: “In recent times the practice of some members and other spectators opening bottles of champagne in such a way as to allow corks to be projected on to the outfield has been criticised," the letter read.
"Any items which are aimed at the playing area may cause a potential hazard to fieldsmen, and this point has been made formally to the club.

"Lord's is now the only ground into which members and ticket holders are allowed to bring alcohol, and in order for this arrangement to continue it is important that all members, their guests and other spectators refrain from the practice that has been described."
India endured a horrific opening day of the third test against England, as they were bowled out for just 78.
The evergreen James Anderson led the bowling attack with outstanding figures of 3 for 6 from just eight overs.
They ended the day’s play on 120/0, with Rory Burns unbeaten on 52 and Haseeb Hameed, who is replacing Dom Sibley, finished the day with 60 runs on a flawless day of cricket for the Barmy Army.
