An Air Canada flight with 156 passengers and six crew members onboard veered off the runway after landing at Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport on Thursday afternoon (July 9, 2026), Air Canada said. No injuries were reported following the incident involving a Boeing 737 MAX, which occurred at approximately 4 p.m. and led to operational delays at the airport.
“Flight AC774 arriving from LAX on July 9, 2026, landed normally at Montreal International Airport, then sustained a runway excursion and travelled through the grass when exiting the main runway,” Air Canada said in a statement to CTV News.
