Cristiano Ronaldo donned a disguise and gave one young footie fan the surprise of his life. The Real Madrid star took to the city streets with a pet dog for a kickabout to promote a business venture. It failed to impress most passers-by and it was only when he gave the ball to a young lad, removed his beard, wig and make-up that the crowds began to gather.
There was a crowd of more than 1,000 musicians when Foo Fighters fan Fabio Zaffagnini invited them to play the band’s 1999 Grammy-nominated track, Learn to Fly, in unison, to try to persuade Dave Grohl and his band to perform in the tiny town of Cesena, Italy. The stunt - which took a year to plan - worked and the band will eventually perform at the town near Florence.
Emmerdale stars Charley Webb and Anthony Quinlan were cut off in their prime during a live interview when a fire alarm went off at the Good Morning Britain studios. Presenters Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard had to evacuate the studio, leaving soap fans in the lurch about a big stunt featuring characters Debbie and Pete Barton.
Meanwhile, we’ve got more surprised football fans as Arsenal team members photobomb a session for the London team’s new kit, a movie mash-up of Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk Song and a version of Human League’s Working in a Cocktail Bar that will become an instant ear worm. Another song that has been on a lot of people’s minds this week is Anyone Who Had A Heart by Cilla Black. Enjoy our original clip of her 1964 hit and remember one of Liverpool’s finest.
