It's battle of the cover versions this week, as two takes on Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen – this summer's Rebecca Black? – go head to head. First up is a clip using Star Wars dialogue to run through the lyrics of the song. Roping in the likes of Bib Fortuna alongside the usual cast of characters, it must have taken months to put together – did someone have too much time on their hands? Equally inventive is Sesame Street's version of the song featuring Cookie Monster munching his way through an office. With a typically voracious performance from CM and some great visual gags, it even sneaks in a twist in the end like the original.
X Factor cheeky chappie Olly Murs loves a good laugh – but the joke was at his expense at Surrey's GuilFest at the weekend when he fell over halfway through a rendition of Stevie Wonder's hit Signed, Sealed Delivered. Murs was game enought to tweet a link to the video afterwards, and it's impressive that he keeps singing.
There's an X Factor connection in another of our videos this week, as "Pup Direction" bark their way through One Direction's One Thing. With dogs corresponding to each of the 1D band members, including a yelping Harry, it's a barking idea but charming nonetheless.
Finally, for more doggy action watch our video of a tiny kitten playing with a giant Doberman. The cat's bravery by leaping into the dog's jaws – and the dog's patience in not savaging its playmate – are truly something to behold.
