A TikTok video of a woman discovering what the 'proper' use is for a grab handle inside a car has gone viral. After showing what the catch inside the car is for, the video left thousands rushing to see for themselves.
Jess, shared the knowledge with her 263.1k TikTok followers on her account @jmac8781. She often makes 'things you might not know' videos on her page including what the meaning of different colour bristles on a toothbrush and how to remove juice stains.
However, her car-related video has gone viral with it getting over 1.4 million views. It starts with a person pulling down a car's grab handle before flipping down a small catch inside.

The catch then holds the grab handle in place, making it easier to hang things up. Jess is left stunned as she goes to her own car to see if the hack really works, which it does.
However, The Mirror stated that this hack may not work on every vehicle but it's worth seeing if your car can do this too. After sharing the video, it has received 108,000 likes and nearly 2,000 comments from people who were left just as shocked.

Although it seems that not everyone was as impressed with Jess' revelation. Some said they were 'genuinely curious' as to what people would use it for.
