

Viral Western Sydney TikToker Yisra El Moubayed has fronted court over an alleged physical altercation at a Bankstown hairdresser.
El Moubayed, who boasts more than 508.8K TikTok followers and has more than 12.9 million likes, appeared in court on Monday morning after police charged her with affray for allegedly inciting a brawl at Bankstown Central’s Hair In The Square salon.
It’s alleged that the TikToker and her mother visited the salon at about 3pm on Sunday, where El Moubayed was told the staff did not have time to give her a colour treatment.

In videos of the alleged incident, it’s claimed El Moubayed was yelling, screaming, throwing items at staff members and pulling hair.
According to 9News, in a since-deleted TikTok posted after videos of the alleged incident went viral, El Moubayed said she was acting in self-defence. She was arrested the following day and charged with affray.
Speaking to the publication Samir Kanaan, the owner of the salon, described the alleged incident as a “big shock”.
“Everyone coming to the shop and [are] saying, ‘Thank God, you’re alright,'” he said.
Who is Yisra El Moubayed?
Yisra is a viral influencer hailing from Western Sydney’s Bankstown, who rose to prominence for sharing videos that ranged from vlogs to rants to outfit checks.
She’s mostly known her for this viral video celebrating her hometown of Bankstown with its postcode 2200.
In 2022, Yisra also went viral after she stepped into the boxing ring to fight fellow TikToker Persian Mina.
While fronting the court, 9News reported that El Moubayed broke down in tears as her lawyer spoke about her troubled history and explained that she was studying to become a mine worker.
Per news.com.au, after appearing in court, El Moubayed was granted bail under strict conditions. The influencer had no comment on the case when she left court.
