There are two in a pack.
On Monday night, the college football world witnessed a major event that promises to have implications for the 2024 season.
No, we're not talking about the College Football Playoff national championship game, which saw Michigan defeat Washington 34—13.
The Pop-Tarts Bowl, which went viral this year for its edible live mascot who stole the show, announced its intention to return next season. But, much like its mascot, the bowl organizers made a splash with the announcement, creating a movie trailer-like video, which was posted onto its official account on social media.
Check it out.

The man in the video, happily chewing on a Pop-Tart, suddenly realizes that there are two in a package of the toaster pastries. Moments later, the words "The Pop-Tarts Bowl will return," appear on the screen.
This year's edition of the Pop-Tarts Bowl, which saw Kansas State defeat NC State, also saw the live mascot get "toasted" and then eaten by the victorious Wildcats. The bowl game generated $12.1 million in media exposure for Kellanova, formerly Kellogg's.
Entertaining and successful, it's not surprising that the Pop-Tarts Bowl—and the mascot—will be back next year.
