Viral Scots goat is finally returned to farm after rampaging around town

A Scots goat's wild rampage has come to an end after going viral for its antics.

The farm animal had been spotted bolting along a Fife streets in the Urquhart area last week, leaving locals stunned.

One eyewitness snapped pictures of the goat sprinting across the road and down a pavement in the area.

Social media pages had asked followers to locate the owner before getting hundreds of likes and comments from helpers.

Now the cheeky little goat has been returned to her home 'safe and sound' thanks to the major public appeal.

Fife Jammers locations said: "The goat has been got!

"Thank you to everyone for their help in locating her. She is now back home safe and sound!

"Thanks again."

We told you how Fife Jammers locations shared hilarious pictures of the goat's antics on Facebook leaving social media users in stitches.

The post said: "There actually is a goat on the loose by the flats at the top of Urquhart."

The status has over 600 likes and hundreds of comments with Scots sharing their thoughts.

One person said: "Seen this last night, thought I was tripping."

A second person said: "Goatta get to Primark for new socks."

A third person said: "Comes for a visit now and again it’s called Barry."

A forth person said: "Probably just be somebody acting the goat !"
