Popular Malayalam actress and singer Brighty Balachandran, better known by her stage name Mythili, got married on Thursday in a simple religious ceremony held at Guruvayur temple in Kerala. The actress tied the knot with longtime beau, Sampath, who is an architect by profession.
The 'Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha' star stunned in her simple bridal avatar, which has now gone viral, with her fans reposting pictures in lieu of their sheer beauty and simplicity.
An intimate affair, the wedding was attended by close family and friends of the duo and had the couple look all elegant in their wedding ensembles.
Mythili picked up a traditional gold kasavu sari from Kerala, which she teamed up with a retro-looking blouse with puffed sleeves. She accessorised the look with green bangles, gold kadas, a maang tikka, a temple neckpiece, jhumkas and a heavy oddiyanam or the waist belt worn by Keralite women. The actress finished the look with a tiny bindi and a gajra bun.
The handsome groom, Sampath complemented the very beautiful Mythili, in his off white shirt and white and gold mundu (a traditional garment worn around the waist by men in Kerala). He finished off the look with a simple gold chain.
Mythili debuted in Ranjith's crime drama film Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha. She rose to fame in Salt N' Pepper which subsequently earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at 59th Filmfare Awards South. She also made her playback singing debut with Malayalam thriller Loham (The Yellow Metal).
