An AI-generated rap video mocking Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner has gone viral online, amassing hundreds of thousands of views.
The skit, titled How Many Homes Can Rayner Buy?, shows a computer-generated version of Ms Rayner dancing outside a row of flats while wearing a fur coat over a tracksuit, flashing cash and smoking two cigarettes at once.
Lyrics include: “Bought me one house, bought me two; Flip another flat, taxman no clue; £80K saved with a Brighton tan; Dodgin’ more duty than the average man. How many homes, I’ll name ’em all; Big Ange dancin’ in the Commons hall; Taxman cryin’, Rayner smilin’; One rule for me, none for thee!”

The parody comes as Ms Rayner faces mounting scrutiny over a row about unpaid stamp duty on one of her properties.
She bought a flat in Hove, near Brighton, in 2025 for £800,000 but paid just £30,000 in stamp duty — rather than the £70,000 she should have owed if it had been declared a second home. At the time she removed herself from the deeds of her family house in Greater Manchester, allowing her to avoid the higher rate.
Graffiti branding her a “tax evader” has since been daubed outside the Brighton property. Her solicitors, Verrico & Associates, say they calculated the tax based on information provided by Rayner and have accused her team of making them scapegoats.
Ms Rayner insists she acted in good faith and has since sought new legal advice, but critics have called her position untenable. The Prime Minister has refused to say whether he will sack his deputy, promising instead to wait for the outcome of a probe by the independent ethics adviser.
The controversy has earned Ms Rayner the nickname “Three Pads” because she has the Brighton flat in addition to her constituency home and a grace-and-favour apartment in central London.
The viral video has tapped into that narrative, with viewers suggesting the Deputy PM’s “nightclub double” may prove more popular than the original.
