Violent brawl outside Celtic boozer Bar 67 leaves two men seriously injured

A violent brawl outside a popular Celtic bar in the Glasgow area has left two men in hospital.

Cops raced to the scene outside Bar 67 in the Gallowgate, Glasgow, at 8.10pm on Saturday night, after reports of a brawl in the street.

Two men, aged 22 and 53, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Police sealed off the street outside the bar and stood watch overnight.

A Twitter account for the boozer posted: "Trouble outside the pub mate nothing to do with us".

Celtic claimed a 2-1 Scottish Cup Final win over Hearts at Hampden Park.

Thousands of Celtic fans descended on the area following the historic Treble-Treble win.

Footage from the Trongate shows a sea of flags and banners as chanting supporters let off flares in the centre of the city.

Officers made seven arrests for various offences in and around the stadium on Saturday. 

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:"Around 8.10 pm on Saturday 25 May 2019 police were called to a report of a disturbance on Gallowgate, Glasgow.

"Emergency services attended and two men, aged 22 and 53, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

"A 30 year-old man has been arrested connection with the incident.

"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact Shettleston CID via 101."
