Vinyl bargain hunter duped by fake Edinburgh record shop in Glasgow

This is the moment a confused shopper tries to visit a fake record shop which was part of the set for a new BBC Scotland drama.

Guilt, a new four-part drama series, is currently being filmed in Glasgow.

A disused shop front in the Merchant City, on the corner of Bell Street and Albion Street, has been revamped into an Edinburgh record store called 'Leith Beats'.

While shooting took place on Monday afternoon, two people tried to enter the production set, mistaking it for a real shop.

One bargain hunter was also seen flicking through vinyl outside the store after a film crew member placed a board outside advertising vinyl records for £3 or two for £4.99 and three for a tenner.

The series will star Jamie Sives, who has featured in Chernobyl, Frontier, Game Of Thrones and Outlaw King, alongside Mark Bonnar, who has appeared in Catastrophe and Line of Duty.

One onlooker said: "It was really funny. I saw two people try and get into the shop while looking for bargains.

"One guy was convinced it was a real record shop.

"He started leafing through vinyls after the crew put an a-board advertising vinyl for sale."
