Vintage vehicle rally in Ayrshire this weekend will showcase some crackers from a bygone age

Fans of vehicles from a bygone era are in for a real treat this weekend — as the Ayrshire Commercial Vintage Vehicle Club stage their annual road run through Ayrshire.

Scores of commercial vehicles like trucks, tractors, buses and more will be on display in Cumnock this Saturday — before the convoy sets off through the Ayrshire countryside and down to Cairnryan.

You can see all the vehicles at the Barony Campus, Ayr Road, Cumnock, from 9am this Saturday, before the rally sets off at midday.

A catering van will be on site during that time.
