Two historic airplanes will fly over Canberra on Saturday as part of commemorations for the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.
For Canberrans wanting to catch a glimpse of the planes, the flypast is expected to start at about 10:50am on Saturday morning.
Two vintage aircraft will flyover the capital - a CA-16 Wirraway trainer and a Lockheed Hudson bomber.
The planes will approach from the west along Lake Burley Griffin and will then fly past Anzac Parade and over the War Memorial.

A commemorative service to mark the ending of World War II will take place at the War Memorial on Saturday. It will be closed to the public due to COVID-19 social distancing restrictions but will be televised. A number of World War II veterans will be in attendance.
Saturday will mark 75 years since Japan surrendered to the Allies, which effectively ended the war.
The flypast is subject to aircraft serviceability and weather conditions on the day, so it may be cancelled. There is a 60 per cent chance of rain on Saturday morning, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
