Vinny Curry calls his one year away from Philadelphia with the Buccaneers ‘a long offseason’

Vinny Curry is thrilled to be back in the Eagles uniform, so much so that he’s treating his one-year free agency stay in Tampa as an extended offseason or Super Bowl celebration. Curry addressed the media during Tuesday’s OTA session and when asked about the excitement of returning from the Buccaneers, offered this for an example.

For the Eagles coaching staff, the feeling seems to be mutual with defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz that Curry hasn’t missed a beat since returning. Curry played for the Eagles from 2012-17 before signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season, before returning to Philadelphia late in free agency.
