Kim Bailey is optimistic his sidelined stars Vinndication and Younevercall will return to the racecourse this season.
The pair, both graded winners, have had an interrupted campaign due to injury.
Vinndication was diagnosed with a bone bruise while he was being prepared for a return to Ascot before Christmas, a track where his impressive Sodexo Gold Cup performance merited a mark of 159.
Younevercall returned from Royal Ascot last summer with a suspected hairline fracture and has missed the first half of the National Hunt season.
The duo have been recuperating at Jason Maguire's pre-training and rehabilitation centre in the Cotswolds, as they embark on the comeback trail.
"Younevercall is back in the yard cantering and Vinndication is being ridden," said Bailey.
"Vinndication is sound and he will have had six weeks off. We have to make sure he continues to progress before we start thinking of targets, however the early signs are good.
"Jason's centre has helped us a lot and the horses have been using the water treadmill.
"Younevercall needs to go right-handed so he won't be entered at The Festival.
"He will be aimed at the Select Hurdle, a race he won at Sandown last season."
Two For Gold provided Bailey with a poignant winner in a Grade Two novice chase over the weekend, following the death of part-owner Dermot Clancy before Christmas.
