Vinci Construction UK has appointed Andrew Astley as regional director for the Midlands.
Mr Astley has replaced Michael Roadnight who has retired following a long career with the company spanning 19 years.
He has a wealth of construction and planning experience and an in-depth understanding of the Midlands market.
Mr Astley said: "I'm excited by this opportunity in taking the lead role in our regional senior team. Michael has done a fantastic job for the Midlands region.
"I look forward to continuing to build long-term relationships with our clients and supporting the Midlands team to further success."
In other appointments news from the property sector, consultancy Projex Building Solutions has expanded its Solihull office on the back of new contract wins.
Adrian Adams has joined as senior construction manager while Kieran Taylor is promoted to project surveyor.
Mr Adam joins from MAC Group where he was a project and divisional director, responsible for delivering a range of projects for brands including Rolls Royce, Post Office and Warwick University.
Mr Taylor joined Projex three years ago and has been working on major projects for one of the UK's leading logistics and industrial developers Mountpark as well as student accommodation for Urban Village among others.
Birmingham-based residential developer Prosperity has appointed a procurement manager.
John Harris brings more than 30 years of commercial experience to the role, having worked with brands including Kodak, P&G and Osram, trading with large DIY retailers and building supply groups.
He has also managed procurement teams in the development of supply chains in the UK, Europe and Far East.
Solihull-based residential land specialist Terra Strategic has recruited Richard Pitt as strategic planning director to drive residential land and development opportunities.
He will focus on progressing the company's development sites through the planning system.
Mr Pitt has joined Wolverhampton-based housing association Bromford where he was senior planning manager.
Property consultancy Vail Williams has made a brace of promotions in its Birmingham office.
Adam Barnfield and Brian Miklasz have both been promoted to associate level.
Mr Barnfield works across England and Wales, advising clients on all aspects of business rates including surveys, full/partial empty space relief and properties affected by road or building works.
Mr Miklasz joined Vail Williams following the acquisition of Ruddle Merz's rating division in 2017 and also specialises in business rates advice.
Trade body Land Promoters and Developers Federation has appointed Phill Bamford as associate director of policy and research.
He joins the Birmingham-based association with 27 years of experience in public and private sector planning roles and will work alongside policy director John Acres.
Mr Bamford started his career in local government with Broxbourne Borough Council and worked for many years preparing development plans and other planning policy documents for various councils and has spent the past nine years at Gladman Developments.
Estate agency Chosen Home has appointed a new area manager.
The business, which primarily operates within Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield and Stourbridge, has appointed Hannah Delaney to help it manage the demand for homes across the West Midlands.
She has almost a decade's experience in the sector, most recently as senior sales manager at Birmingham-based residential development specialist Seven Capital.
Birmingham-based residential and commercial property agency Centrick has appointed Alex Tross as its new commercial director.
Mr Tross, who is also deputy chairman of Colmore Business Improvement District, has joined the city centre firm from Lambert Smith Hampton where was head of office advisory.
In his new role, he will oversee new instructions and be responsible for driving Centrick Commercial's growth in the region and across the country.
