Vincent Kompany will bid an emotional farewell to Manchester City fans this evening as the club legend returns to the Etihad Stadium for his testimonial.
Kompany spent 11 years in Manchester, captaining City to four Premier League title triumphs before departing this summer to become Anderlecht's player-manager.
As befitting a player of Kompany's talent and reputation, a host of football stars past and present are set to turn out for his testimonial, which will see Manchester City Legends take on a Premier League All-Stars XI.
And it certainly is an All-Stars XI, with the likes of Thierry Henry, Robin van Persie and Cesc Fabregas to play alongside nearly all of Manchester United's famous 'Class of '92' - Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs and the Neville brothers.
Cult City hero Mario Balotelli will line up for Kompany's Legends, with Kolo Toure, Craig Bellamy, Edin Dzeko and James Milner among others set to wear sky blue at the Etihad one more time.

Tickets
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to Tackle4MCR - the initiative Kompany set up with the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, to address rough sleeping and homelessness on the streets of Manchester.

Kompany in his own words
"I had such a special time at City and it’s a great chance to say goodbye (to the fans).
"We had such a special time. They have been great to me and I have always given everything to them, and this game is a little bit for them.
"I want to use every opportunity on the day to thank them though the testimonial is not so much about myself.
"It’s for a key charity too which is really important."
