Vince Gilligan's 'Pluribus' just got unsettling first look by Apple TV Plus

Rhea Seehorn in "Pluribus" on Apple TV Plus.

Yesterday, we learned that "Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan's next show was going to drop a first look — today. Now, it's finally here.

In yesterday's announcement, we got a countdown timer hinting at a 3 p.m. ET reveal. Earlier today, an X (Twitter) account dropped what turned out to be the leaked teaser trailer for the upcoming Apple TV Plus drama starring "Better Call Saul" star Rhea Seehorn.

On the one hand, we didn't get much regarding what the show is about. We just got a woman in an office licking donuts and putting them back in a box.

But we did learn some big news — "Pluribus" is coming to Apple TV Plus on Nov. 7. Great news for those of us who have been waiting for this show since 2022.

So now that we have this first look that raises more questions than it answers, here's what we know so far about "Pluribus."

Everything we know about 'Pluribus' so far

As already covered, we got an eerie first look at the show, and we now know when it will hit the streaming service.

Apple has let us in on a few more details, though. "Pluribus" season 1 will be nine episodes, with a two-episode premiere on Friday, Nov. 7, followed by a new episode every subsequent Friday through December 26 on Apple TV Plus.

The show is described by Apple as "a genre-bending original in which the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness." In addition to Seehorn, the series stars Karolina Wydra and Carlos Manuel Vesga and features Miriam Shor and Samba Schutte in guest-starring roles.

If you're worried about committing to a new show, don't be — "Pluribus" had already been greenlit for season 2 before we even got today's season 1 teaser.
