Vince Carter got emotional after what could have been his last NBA game

The NBA season has been suspended indefinitely because of the coronavirus, which means Wednesday night’s game could end up being the last in 43-year-old Vince Carter’s legendary – and lengthy – NBA career.

Carter, who has played 22 seasons since being drafted by the Toronto Raptors with the fifth pick in the 1998 NBA Draft, played 13 minutes Wednesday night against the Knicks and finished with five points.

Three of those points came in the final seconds after he was subbed into the game when both teams knew what was going on with the season.

Carter, of course, nailed a 3-pointer for what could be his final points:
