Vin Diesel has shared a touching message to Paul Walker’s daughter to celebrate her 21st birthday.
The actor, 52, posted a sweet photo of Meadow on his Instagram page, and said he was “proud” of the person she was becoming.
He wrote on Instagram: “I could say that I am so proud of the person you are becoming... but the truth is I have always been proud of you.
“Happy Birthday Meadow! I know it’s your 21st and you wanted to go big in Japan, but the family has a cake waiting for you when you get home, so hurry. Love you kid. Uncle Vin.”
She responded: “Thank you so much. I can’t wait to see you soon. And my little angels. Love you.”
Diesel starred in the Fast and Furious franchise with late actor Paul, who died in a car crash in 2013.
He was close friends with Paul and named his youngest daughter, Pauline, after him when she was born in 2015.
Meadow devotes her time to the Paul Walker foundation, which she launched on September 12 in 2015.
The foundation provides grants and scholarship opportunities as well as “spontaneous acts of goodwill.” It also endorses those who campaign to protect oceans, sea creatures and wildlife.
